About Us
Established in 1955, the Norridge Park District serves the residents of Norridge and parts of Harwood Heights. We manage 20.3 acres of parks and open space, along with four main facilities:

Facilities
Norridge Recreation Center
Features a grade-school regulation gym, four multi-purpose rooms (including one with a full kitchen), a music studio, administrative offices, and a Board Room.
Pool & Fitness Center
Home to an outdoor leisure pool, lap pool, splash pad, diving well, two water slides, and concessions. The Fitness Center includes 1,600 sq. ft. of cardio and strength equipment, a dedicated aerobics room, and locker rooms with showers.
Parks & Outdoor Spaces
Our main park offers two playgrounds, four ball fields, six basketball courts, four pickleball courts, two tennis courts, a futsal court, and two bocce courts.
We also maintain the Iron Ball Playground at Montrose & Octavia, which offers a small playground and picnic area for young families.
Programs & Events
We provide year-round programs and events for all ages—from early childhood through active older adults. Offerings include recreation programs, fitness, special events, trips, and more. Program information is available in our seasonal Program Guides, on our website, and through materials distributed across the community.
Insurance Disclaimer
The Norridge Park District is committed to providing safe programs and services. However, all participants must recognize that recreational activities involve inherent risks.
The District does not carry medical insurance for injuries sustained during programs. Participants should review their personal medical coverage. All registrants (or legal guardians) are required to sign a Liability Waiver and Release at registration.
