Earl J. Field Memorial Playground

Located directly behind the Norridge Recreation Center (4631 N. Overhill Ave.), the Earl J. Field Memorial Playground is designed for children up to age 12 to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors.

The playground was fully renovated in 2006 and dedicated in July 2009 to honor the late Village President, Earl J. Field.

Playground Features

Tot Lot (Ages 2–5)
A perfect space for younger children, featuring slides, swings, a small swinging bridge, and a variety of age-appropriate climbing elements.

Rocket Ship Play Area (Ages 5–12)
An exciting, space-themed structure that includes a pretend flight deck with rocket controls, a rock climbing wall, multiple winding slides, a zip line, and additional climbing features for older children to enjoy.
