POOL SEASON SUMMER 2024

Opening Date

At this time we do not know if we will be able to open.  We were hope to open for a few days, but it is currently dependent on IDPH Permit Approval and staff availability.  In the event we are able to open, even if for one day, it will be free for Norridge Park District residents.  Please read below for updates.

POOL REPLACEMENT PROJECT

CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS 

August 25, 2024

• Dive Well -  Tile Work Complete.  Railing intalled and painting.
• Splash Pad - Complete 
• Zero Depth Leisure Pool - final item is installation of the Water Walk
• Lap Pool - Pint / Time complete.
• Concrete Deck - Completed deck areas and walkways
• Mechanical Room - Start up week of August 26
• Perimiter Fence Installation - Underway.  Interior fencing 80% complete, perimiter fence posts up
• Lights Posts - Installation complete.
• Planning IDPH review of site - September 3-6, pending availabilty.  IDPH is back-logged and completing their requirement of approving existing pools that have been open since May 2024
• Anticipated open date - unknown.  Weather and staff dependent we will open on weekends in September.

Summer Season Pass

Park District of Franklin Park is offering Norridge Park District residents discounted rates to enjoy their Pool on Pacific until the Norridge Aquatic Center opens.

• Norridge Park District Residents are eligible.

• You must obtain a Norridge Park District Resident Pass at:

                                Norridge Recreation Center         M-F          9am-5pm

                                Pool/Fitness Facility                        M-F          7am-8pm

                                                                                         Sat/Sun   8am-5pm

• The Norridge Resident Pass is not a pool pass.  It is proof of residency within the park district.

• In order to receive the discounted rate at Franklin Park you MUST bring the Norridge Resident Pass.  This is required for purchasing a season pass and daily admission.

• After you obtain your Residency Pass the may purchase a season pool pass at Franklin Park:

                                Community Center, 9560 Franklin Avenue, 847-455-2852

                                M-Th: 9am-8pm, F: 9am-5pm, Sat: 9am-12pm

         You may purchase a pool pass at the Poll on Pacific, but will still need to go to the                          Community Center during the above hours to have photo taken and pass printed.

• Season Passes purchased for the Pool on Pacific by Norridge Park District Residents will be honored at the Norridge Pool when we open late summer.
